Dear Sir / Madam
Re: License Verification Process
We would like to inform you of a License Verification process Microsoft undertakes with our customers. This process is designed to review the Microsoft software you have deployed, comparing that to your corresponding license documentation.
To assist you, we have appointed one of our qualified consultants to work with you through this engagement. The steps involved are as follows:
Please note that if your organization acquires its Microsoft licenses from a parent company/headquarters located outside of the United States please advise this at the start of the engagement. It is likely that the process will be discontinued upon verification of this detail.
If your organization is a certified Microsoft Partner, please advise this at the start of the process.
We appreciate your cooperation and your participation in this process. We ask that you assist us by engaging with the consultant assigned to work with you. We would also encourage you to visit www.microsoft.com/sam to get an overview of Software Asset Management practices.
If you have any feedback on this program your consultant will be pleased to note this on your behalf.
