SoftwareMedia now carries netbooks and laptops. Check it Out
1. Samsung ATIV Book
The Samsung ATIV Book is tipped by many critics and computing experts to be one of the best laptops of this coming year in terms of screen resolution. The reason for this is the impressive dimensions of its screen, which is a whopping 13.3 inches- and every inch in total HD. To top up this impressive visual aspect, the ATIV has an Intel HD 4400 graphics card and a Intel Core i5 processors to boot. And did we mention that it also packs 4 GB of ram? Yeah, this one’s going to be pretty hard to beat this year.
2. ASUS Zenbook Prime
Ever the processing and performance beast, the ASUS Zenbrook Prime might even give the Samsung ATIV book a run for its money in the screen deparment0 with 13-3 inches of screen that can play HD without any stoppages or jerky side-effects. The intellect of this machine is truly formidable, as it’s powered by Intel Core i7 processors and features 4 GB of DDR3 Ram. It’s basically one heck of a brain inside a lightweight, slim and sexy looking steel carapace!
3. Acer Aspire S7
Now if there was ever a picture to go with the definition of the phrase ‘pocket rocket’, it would be of the Acer Aspire S7. The Aspire S7 is one of the smallest laptops available on the market, with an overall thinness and airy quality that belies its impressive technical specifications. Once again, as with the offerings from Samsung and ASUS, the Aspire boasts a 13.3 inch screen and runs of Intel’s Core i5 processors. Is if that weren’t enough, ASUS have somehow managed to cram the same Intel HD 4400 Graphics Card that Samsung use into their own machine! Truly, anything is possible when it comes to computing technology.
4. Lenovo Thinkpad Helix
The Lenovo ThinkPad Helix is one of those types of Ultrabook that is really kitted out for intensive work use. For that reason, Lenovo has given us a machine that can run for up to six and a half hours without charge. This is no doubt a highly useful feature, but it’s even more impressive when you consider that the Helix is powered by Intel Core i5 processors and runs an Intel Core 4000 Graphics Card on an 11.6 inch HD display screen. And just a quick aside, if you want to get your hands on some of these 2014 goodies, but are a little cash-strapped right now, then be sure to make some computer rental arrangements before making any purchases! But back to the Helix, if you’re a hard working professional who also likes some quality gaming or video time, then this Ultrabook comes very highly recommended to you.
5. HP Spectre XT Touch Smart
This Ultrabook is arguably the best Ultrabook that money can buy on the market right now. It’s certainly the most powerful of the 2014 Ultrabook offerings, with an amazing combination of Intel Core i7 processors and 8 GB of RAM. Now that should be enough for the Spectre to win almost any contest hands down, but what makes this Ultrabook better still is the fact that it has a 15.6 inch HD display screen- the largest screen of all the 2014 Ultrabooks out there. So if you’re willing to spend some cash on the biggest Ultrabook gun you can buy, then choose wisely and get a Spectre- you certainly won’t regret it!
