Creative Cloud’s Latest Feature Releases
Update 01-20-2014: We’ve released a video explaining the details of Adobe’s licensing option, Creative Cloud for Teams
With the release of Creative Cloud, Adobe has changed many things. Now, instead of releasing new features all at once as part of a new version, features are released as they’re completed. This means no more waiting for better, more dynamic, functionality. It also means the old Creative Suites are quickly falling into obsolescence. Here is just a sampling of the features that have been rolled out within the last few months.
Photoshop CC: Perspective Warp
Easily adjust the perspective in your images by altering the viewpoint from which an object is seen, seamlessly composite images that have different vanishing points, and more.
Illustrator CC: Live Corners
Get more direct, intuitive control of corners of shapes and paths. Edit and re-edit corners with on-art controls, or by entering values in the Control panel or new Corners dialog box.
InDesign CC: Work more efficiently with fonts.
Quickly access the Adobe Typekit font library directly from the InDesign Font menu. InDesign works with Sync Fonts to seamlessly bring you the new fonts you need.
Choose from over 700 desktop fonts from the growing Typekit library, sync them to your desktop, and get immediate access to them in the font menus across your apps.
Adobe Muse CC: A faster, code-free design process.
With this release, you’ll be able to quickly drag and drop social widgets to add them to your site, efficiently reuse and share design elements across projects and your team, and more.
As you can see Adobe’s creative software is evolving quickly, both driving innovation and adapting to new developments as necessary. Don’t get left in the dust by your competitors! If you have any questions about the Creative Cloud please give us a call! We’re happy to help.
