Crystal Volume Licensing Program Overview

CVLP is a transaction-based, volume-licensing program for the Crystal Reports software and Xcelsius software family of desktop products. CVLP removes the complexities of traditional licensing programs, while maintaining generous volume discounts. Discounts are given based on the number of units purchased per transaction, and different products can be combined.
Benefits
Simplicity – discount bands are determined based on the number of units purchased per transaction; no need to deal with a confusing points system or track accumulated purchases over time.
Product Span – benefit from volume discounts across product lines by combing Xcelsius software and Crystal Reports software products. New and upgrade licenses are both eligible for CVLP, and can be combined in a single transaction.
Save money – for corporate customers, discounts begin with a minimum of three units per transaction; discounts may go as high as 25%.
Government, education, and not-for-profit pricing – Discounts are available for qualifying not-for-profit, government and educational institutions.
Accessible – Registration is not required to qualify for discounts, and there are no obligatory purchase commitments.
Discount Levels / Bands
Discount Levels are determined based on the number of units purchased per transaction. The more units in your order, the higher the discount level you are
eligible for. Desktop products can be combined to obtain higher level discounts. Discounts begin with a minimum of 3 units.

| Corporate Customers purchasing 10 - 49 units: | 15% Discount |
| Corporate Customers purchasing 50+ units: | 25% Discount |
| Government Customers: | 15% Discount |
Product can be mixed to obtain higher discounts. Example: 2 Crystal Reports 2008 along with 1 Xcelsius Engage qualifies for level 3-9 for both skus
Moving to a transaction-based program removes the need to track your points and corresponding discount level. Full product and upgrade licenses of Crystal Reports and Xcelsius products are eligible for these discounts.
Enterprise Support
Enterprise Support includes both Software Updates and Telephone Support. Enterprise Support is a required purchase for all Crystal Reports Server and Xcelsius Engage Server orders.

Support is not available for Crystal and Xcelsius Desktop products
Media
Media ships automatically direct from the vendor when a license is purchased through Fed Ex 2nd day air. If additional media is required, it must be purchased direct from the vendor (800-877-2340). Please allow approx 5 days for your media due to vendor process time.
License / Keycode
An email will be send direct from the vendor with your keycode and a pdf with instructions for registering your product. The email will be received before the media as they are both sent the same day. Please allow approx 3 days for your email with keycode.
Important Notes
Crystal licenses can not be downgraded. Please check with the mfg of your application before purchasing to advise on compatibility.
CVLP Example
You own a small firm with five employees. Three of the employees need Crystal Reports Visual Advantage 2008 and two need Xcelsius Present.

Remember, desktop products can be combined to give you a larger discount. Since you are purchasing a total of 5 licenses, you will fall into the ’3-9 Unit Level’ for each product.
